Golf wedges - the right golf clubs around the green

If you find yourself in difficult playing situations when playing golf, you have to play around obstacles and short shots come into play, then the grip on a golf wedge is the right choice. Depending on the situation you can choose between a pitching wedge, sand wedge, lob wedge and gap wedge. When you hit the golf ball from clean positions out of the rough or from the bunker, you will quickly feel which of the three wedges is cleaner than the other when hitting the ball.

At Golf House, you'll find a large selection of golf wedges from top brands, including Taylor Made, Mizuno, Titleist, Cleveland and Callaway. No matter which golf wedge you are interested in, they all convince not only with top quality but also with first-class performance on the golf course. For example, the pitching wedge is often used for approach shots to the green or for clubs from a bunker. This is why you are able to achieve a high ball flight due to the flat club head. After hitting the ball hardly rolls further. The Sand Wedge is used when the ball has buried itself in the sand bunker. Thanks to its high loft of about 56° and a bounce of 12° to 16°, digging into the soft sand is reduced. Sometimes players use this golf club in deep rough to get out of difficult lies. Closing the gap between these two clubs is the Gap Wedge. This wedge golf club has a loft between 48° and 52°. Last but not least, the Lob wedge should be mentioned. It provides very short but very high strokes. This wedge has a strong loft of about 58° to 64° and a lower bounce than the sand wedge. Advanced golfers often use a lob wedge. This is because there is a risk of hitting under the golf ball when hitting the ball due to its very high loft.

Golf wedges for short and precise distances

Golf wedges - pitching wedge, sand wedge, gap wedge and lob wedge - prove to be real (life) savers when playing golf. Because they are used to work out birdies from the fairway, save par when you miss the green, or hit the ball out of the bunker. In short: golf wedges simplify your game!
