The MIzuno Genem WG GTX BOA golf shoes made from recycled materials and a BLOOM TPE midsole (a resin mixed with algae) are Mizuno's first environmentally conscious golf shoe. One way to avoid harmful phosphorus and ammonia from industrial wastewater is to use the fastest growing plant on earth, algae. The Genem also uses recycled BOA wire, recycled synthetic uppers and recycled synthetic fibers in the tongue and heel cuff.
