Mizuno JPX 923 Forged S-Taper Light

The Mizuno JPX 923 Forged iron is a medium sized, grain flow forged iron that offers a perfect balance of ball speed, stability and feel. Our third generation Chromoly Forging (irons 4-7) features a milled slot that extends wider to the heel and toe. Coupled with an even thinner face, the irons produce the highest ball speeds across the majority of the clubface. The irons have been given a thinner top line. The compact, short irons (8-GW) also feature a beveled sole for improved ground contact.

Forged from a single piece of 4120 chromoly and milled from back to toe, the club's compact profile generates extreme ball speeds. The thickness of the clubface has been reduced to just 2.2 mm in the impact zone (compared to 2.6 mm for the JPX921Forged).

New V-chassis for a thinner topline
Developed as part of Mizuno's Harmonic Impact Technology project to create a denser, more satisfying feel. Earlier models required a slightly thicker top line to provide the same feel.
