The Mizuno ST-Max 230 is a hybrid with a large footprint and lower profile - developed for absolutely consistent performance across the entire clubface. The high-energy MAS1C steel face is reinforced by an extended CORTECH chamber. This is moved closer to the clubface to increase ball speed both in the center and outside. A speed bevel attached to the leading edge ensures impressive performance - both off the tee and from the fairway. The low and deep weight combined with an ultra-lightweight waffle crown ensures an impressively straight, reliable ball flight.
Advanced CORTECH-Chamber
A dense weight of stainless steel with elastomer TPU. This relieves pressure on the clubface and creates an additional source of energy. Extended on the ST Max and positioned closer to the clubface to maintain ball speed over a larger portion of the clubface.
