Cross Sportswear was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1986 by two passionate golfers who were frustrated by the lack of waterproof rainwear that allowed them full freedom of movement on the golf course. Their vision was to develop a technology that would enable rainwear that was breathable and stretchable while withstanding the harsh Swedish climate. The solution was FTX. An ultra-lightweight membrane combined with a different outer shell to provide optimal protection from wind and water, while wicking away body moisture to keep the body cool and dry throughout all 18 holes. The unique FTX technology also proved to be optimal for skiwear where nature places high demands on strength, mobility and function.

Over the years, Cross Sportswear has gained unique knowledge and experience in the development of fabrics and materials to design and develop functional sportswear with a strong fashion sense.
