What kind of golf bag do I need?

With golf bags, a basic distinction is made between stand bags and cart bags.

Apart from these two main categories of golf bags, there are also smaller pencil bags, which are basically constructed like stand bags, but have no feet and can therefore only be placed on the ground, and tour bags - even larger and more spacious golf bags than cart bags, such as those used by professional golfers.

Regardless of which type of golf bag you choose, it should have sufficient storage options, not be too heavy and ideally also be waterproof. If you want to buy a stand bag, make sure it has padded carrying straps. However, if you want to buy a cart bag, there are now many models that offer a top with individual and continuous dividers (subdivisions for the clubs) - this contributes to perfect organization and great protection for your clubs.

Standbag

Standbags have legs and a rucksack-like carrying system that allows you to carry your golf bag and equipment comfortably around the golf course. They are usually characterized by a low weight (approx. 1.5 to 3 kilos).

Cart bag

Cartbags, on the other hand, are designed for use on a trolley. You should therefore make sure that you have easy access to as many pockets as possible. Cartbags usually weigh between 2.5 and 5.5 kilos.
