Z-Alloy
The new wedge is made from a breakthrough steel formula that Cleveland has spent years developing. The goal? No limitations in the design. And after years of mixing, melting and refining, Cleveland has created a new steel, Z-Alloy, that outperforms all old metals in every measurable parameter. The steel is softer and less dense than 8620 steel and remarkably durable. It gives RTZ wedges superior feel, better forgiveness and more consistency.

HydraZip
HydraZip is a unique system of face structures and laser-milled lines that maximize spin performance in wet conditions. This technology is dynamically configured by loft groups, helping to balance spin across the different lofts while maximizing spin in adverse conditions.

ZipCore
This low-density core technology replaces heavy material in the heel and hosel area with a lightweight, low-density, vibration dampening material. This proprietary core allows Cleveland to move the center of gravity closer to where you hit the ball while increasing MOI.

UltiZip
UltiZip's sharper grooves cut through grass and debris at contact, while the deeper grooves create space for grass, sand, dirt or water to clear the hitting zone, giving RTZ wedges stronger, more consistent spin from the fairway, rough or bunker.

Grind-specific Leading Edges
Cleveland's FULL sole has the roundest leading edge to prevent fat hitting on steeper approaches. The MID sole offers a slightly less rounded edge for a variety of strikes. The LOW sole has the sharpest leading edge, designed for turns with a flatter angle of attack. And the new ADAPT grind is similarly round to the MID sole, offering maximum versatility.
