The Cap Back™ Design with Toe Wrap Construction extends the distance, forgiveness and feel benefits of the original breakthrough technology. This advanced engineering performance shifts mass from the extremely high top of the head to the sole to create an extremely low center of gravity. The result is an iron that is easy to play and produces a hot trajectory throughout the entire set.

Fast forgiving face
The 450SS face has an intelligently positioned sweetspot that spans the most common impact points for explosive ball speeds and consistency at all relevant impact points.

Thru-Slot Speed Pocket
Patented TaylorMade® technology is designed to maximize the flexibility of the clubface to increase ball speed. It also compensates for mishits in the lower part of the clubface.

ECHO® Cushioning System
The ECHO® Cushioning System is located behind the clubface and utilizes a soft polymer blend and multiple contact points on the face to dissipate harsh vibrations and create a feel at impact similar to forged clubs.
