The XXIO 13 irons offer the ultimate in medium swing speed performance. Their advanced, four-piece design has a remarkably low center of gravity for a satisfyingly high launch. Rebound Frame technology helps you generate incredible ball speed, while the signature light swing feel of the XXIO irons allows you to do it all with remarkable ease.
4-piece construction
The XXIO 13 irons have a low center of gravity thanks to their 4-piece construction with titanium faces and tungsten-nickel sole weights. This weighting combined with our unique Rebound Frame structure, which alternates stiff and flexible zones to increase ball speed, ensures a satisfyingly high launch with incredible distance.
Titanium face
The thin, high-strength titanium face and hollow parts of the heel allow for an even larger, high-density tungsten-nickel toe weight. This toe weight optimizes the position of the centre of gravity for a higher, straighter launch. In addition to the L-shaped grooves on the underside of the iron body, new grooves on the outer periphery of the club head improve the COR face for increased ball speed and distance.
Rebound Frame
The Rebound Frame uses alternating layers of stiff and flexible zones to improve the overall COR and create a spring-in-a-spring effect. This increases ball speed and distance on every shot. In the irons, a thinner face provides more flex, while perimeter grooves etched deep inside the iron body provide even more flex, especially on shots that hit low on the face.
Optimized CG depending on loft
The progressive, variable face thickness of the XXIO 13 irons optimizes speed and ball launch for every loft. The long irons are designed for carry, with a lower center of gravity to increase ball speed right where you hit the clubface. Short irons emphasize control, with a slightly higher CG for better high-low MOI.
Weight Plus
The proprietary design of the grip positions the mass in the grip end of the shaft. This counterweight makes for an easier takeaway and helps you find the ideal point at the top of your upswing, facilitating release on the downswing for more consistent contact.
